It will be a good performance if Khan can stop him, especially before the 6th - My prediction is a points win for Khan.

I just Hope Limond hasnt come for the payday, like Stefy Bull did.

I've always been a fan of Willie Limond, I like the way he fights, he has some fine skills, but of course is not a puncher or the physically strongest of Lightweights. He has also been inactive of late which is not ideal when going in with the fast livewire Khan.

However he is the best fighter Khan has faced and hopefully will provide a stern test for The Boy From Bolton.

I will be cheering for a Limond upset, but I think Khan will be too big and fast and will outpoint the Scottish fighter.

Having said that if Khan hurst Limond at any point in the fight and follows up with anytype of flurry, watchout for the ref' to jump in and 'save' Limond.

What if the upset happened!!!! that would fukc things up good and proper, with ITV losing interest in Khan fights - I cant see it happening though and I think Khan will stop Limond in round 4.

so generally we all want limond to win but realise it aint gonna happen. my early prediction of tko 6 has worried me since i posted it. with a little lean towards a UD khan. hhhmmmmm..........nope, a wise man once said "first thought, best thought" and i'm sticking with tko 6.

i like the early intervention by the ref idea though, thats a given. :TU:

Someone asked me earlier if they should stick a tenner on Limmond to last beyond 8 rounds, at 10/1.

Sounded like a good bet to me.

I'll be disappointed in Limond if he can't at least worry Khan on occasion. I'll go with Khan in round seven, premature stoppage. Then we all come here to moan about Rawling, Barry, Frank and the ref. :D

Khan in 8 rounds for me, saying that Limond did give Arthur sporadic problems when they fought but Arthur has since improved and Limond has sort of found his level. Frank has picked off a good fight here for his prodigy, Limond is a smart enough boxer with a respectable name within the trade but lacks any form of punch power.

Khan by accumulation in 8, if it's Terry O'Connor reffing then by about the 2nd round.

I'd hope Willie could take him 12 rounds anyway. Apparently Khan's camp asked for a rematch clause should Limmond win. So be afraid. :o
Did Scott Harrison ever have a sanity clause written into his contract? Or doesn't he believe in sanity clauses?

What's a sanity clause? It's sounds like the man who delivers Christmas presents to the psychiatric hospital.

Boom-boom.

Thats interesting, very interesting - So for once there is a little doubt - What if the upset happened, how would ITV react - I think Khan will do it but Limond is a good fighter although his stoppage record is poor - Only Alex Athur caused his solitary defeat but even AA had problems with him - Limonds 29 fights experiance as a pro against Khans 12 is another factor for consideration - We are all assuming Khan will blast Limond out but Limond is very much more experianced and super fit - He is using the same training tactics as Scot Harrison running up mountains weighted down with rocks - This guy isnt comming to the fight as a stepping stone for Amir Khan, he is comming to win - Maybe the plan is for the ref, whoever he is, to ignore flurries of punches from Limond but jump in if Khan does the same claiming to have saved Limond from further punishment - All concerned are aware of the importance of Khans success to keep boxing on ITV and this will be in the refs mind - Limond is a pawn and can be sacrificed but Khan like the king and queen in chess has to be protected for the game to go on.

dont worry jomo, most of us got the joke the first time :TU:

also lets remember khan has been promoted as some kind of unbeatable man. but kindelan sorted him (twice in my view) - ok mario was special but its the khan hype willie has to ignore.

I think its clear Khan has a suspect chin, in fact forget suspect he has a crap chin. Thaxton would knock Khan out easily. Bring on the next feather fisted opponent....

Fair play to Khan for coming back strongly in the 7th and ultimately forcing the stoppage but he was in real trouble there against someone who can't crack an egg.
