Light-Heavyweights: Roy Jones Jr vs Matthew Saad Muhammad

Post by elmersalsa »

Murray Sutherland outboxed Saad for most of the fight but got KO'd late in the fight. Sutherland, however, does not have Jones Jr speed. Would Jones win by decision here, or Saad Muhammad wins by late KO? I pick Saad Muhammad by late KO. He used to get stronger as the fight wore on. What a warrior :TU: :TU: :TU:

Saad is among my 5 alltime favorite fighters. But Roy was too smart and fast to be lulled into a war.

Roy survives a few rough patches late to win a wide decision.

Love Saad but RJJ wouldn't engage him and Saad wouldn't have the speed. RJJ 116-112.

Love to watch Saad, but Jones was too gifted unless Saad just landed a hail-mary shot, but that's not likely with Jones at his best!

I have only just started watching a few od Saad's fights..thank you YOUTUBE ;)

I would myself pick RJJ on athleticism, speed and craftiness. I agree with the consensus with him winning a decision.
