Anyone catch this the other morning, its on ch4 at about 4am,
Wasn't a bad highlight show. You had HL's of Hopkins v Echols, Ellis v Frazier.

But the one that stood out was Wharton v Nardiello, i'd long forgotton this one. It was a tear up, Wharton was decked and hurt a couple of times. Which is amazing as Benn and Eubank couldn't put a dent in Wharton in 24 rounds, Nardiello wasn't even thought of as a puncher.

Also Nardiello was a right looney, after the 2nd round he gives Wharton a right madman eyes stare. Then after a punch misses him to end one of the rounds he falls to his knees claiming a late punch. Once he realises this isn't working he jumps up.
Nardiello gets cut and the ref takes him to a neutral corner, and whilst the ref is calling for the doctor , Nardiello offers out a couple of people in the crowd.
He goes even more mad when its stopped because of the cuts.

Yes Mardy Nardy was quite the 'character'. He pulled some similar crap
against Woodhall. And he floored Richie.

Mind his fight with Malinga was one of the dullest bouts ever. Like Sprott-Skelton in slo-mo.

Is that the same Nardiello who Reid beat in Italy for the WBC? The guy is hilarious. Kept going down, faking low blows and the ref was having none of it. Same against Nigel Benn. Haven't seen the ones you mentioned though, but would like to.

Vincenzo Nardiello was an idiot. Is that the clown who had 'ICE' shaved into the back of his head/hair, right? Throughout the whole of the fight against Benn and Reid he was just fornicating about it, bitching, moaning, it was weird. You wanted to twat him yourself.

I think its always been an Italian trait to moan and show out to the ref.
Galvano and Branco are two more who always looked to the ref for help, although its not good to watch , it does get the boxer a few more seconds to regroup. but not something i like to see.
