EVERETT DAILY HERALD, April 6, 1937, (reporting bouts from the night before): "NEWARK-- Tony Canzoneri, 138, New York, stopped George Levy 136 3/4, Trenton, N.J., (7)."

By the way, the EDH reports that Canzoneri's opponent April 13 was Tony Massa, not Frankie Wallace (as we have it here), and that Tony won in 6, not 8. Can someone clarify?

That bout is on the CBZ as April 5

I have done a lot of research in New Jersey papers and I have Tony Canzoneri winning over George Levy by a TKO in the 7th round on April 5, 1937 in Newark.
