you have me, Tom Manahl fighting Mike Lair on 05 nov 1985. However (I) Tom Manahl made my pro debut on that date against Charles Jamison. It can be verified thru the daily oklahoman archives, which may be accessed through http://www.newsok.com. (just search tom manahl) I did box Mike Lair in late 1988 or 1989 while home on leave from the Navy. It was mys first and only fight since losing to Dennis Butler in nov 1985 due to cut above eye just prior to rd2. I left for Boot camp on 20 nov 1985 and stayed on active duty until 30 nov 05. The Lair fight was 4 round split dec. , which was literally taken on a minutes notice, with me being asked to fill in from the stands and put on the gloves.
