KO in 1
By a man from cross the seas
But all is not lost
To Ladbrokes and such
Because here he is,
Number Fourteen!"
"Irelands John Duddy
who fights on the telly
But Shep says he British
So here he is! number 20!"
"Scott says to Wayne
Hear that refrain?
Our place on the list
Must drive them insane
'Why if no fights,
is he dating your mother?'
No, Wayne laughed
Horse is our Brother!"
"Mr Jennings
You were stunning
A boxer of skill
But the green flag is rising
so you must go into hiding
Sorry
It is Horse's will."
"There was a man from Reading named Michael
Of a bruiser from Bradford was frightful
Come the fight night
Plans went out of sight
he just cuddled, and wobbled like trifle."
I actually agree that Duddy should be on the list... whether he wants too or not, he is eligable to fight for the British title. Dunne, on the other hand, isn't... so I don't think he should be on the list.
Shouldn't Tony Oakey be somewhere on the list - he did draw with Magee.... seems like the more people (although not me) thought he beat Magee also.
Personally think that both now could be ommited for Dean Francis, they almost fought their way out of the P4P reckoning.

This Month is the first time, if there is a lot of negativity then I will consider removing them.Cannibal wrote:Since when did you start entering Irish guys.
I only move fighters who have fought, so I have to wait until a fighter below Eastman wins to move them above him.Cannibal wrote:And, Howard Eastman is too high every time you post one of these.

Yes, it has been metioned before. I strongly considered taking him out this Month, but I decided to add in the Irish fighters instead. I would prefer to leave him in until he retires, but I don't think people will like that.states wrote:Also, and I imagine I won't be the first to mention this, surely Harrison should be out of this list by now? He hasn't fought for 22 months. And, let's face it, he doesn't look like he's ever going to fight again.

I am not sure of the law on this issue. Are you sure Dunne couldn't fight for the British title, if he applied?stujones wrote:I actually agree that Duddy should be on the list... whether he wants too or not, he is eligable to fight for the British title. I don't move fighters up or down after a draw, so I had to leave Oakey out.stujones wrote:Shouldn't Tony Oakey be somewhere on the list - he did draw with Magee.... seems like the more people (although not me) thought he beat Magee also.

Francis is close to getting on the list, but he needs to fight a decent opponent, or a few more fights on the level he has been fighting at recently, to get on the list.

He might actually be dating Wayne McCullough, but he is too shy to admit itKhaosai-Galaxy wrote:have you got a girlfriend?Horse wrote:Yes.Khaosai-Galaxy wrote:top 30??
Me. It shows the depth of talent in British boxing more so than a top 10 list can.Khaosai-Galaxy wrote:after like the top 10, who really gives a eff?
There remains the posibility that he IS Wayne McCullough.....

The list is mostly based on achievements.Max Molyneux wrote:What system do you use to compile that list?
I move fighters only if they have fought in the previous Month.
I tend not to take fighters out for inactivity, unless they have retired.
A fighter cannot move up for a loss or down for a win or either way for a draw.
I take titles into consideration not just the quality of opponent.
I am not sure if this answers your question at all, but I didn't know what to write.
I have not named the system.Razor wrote:The "neeheey" system
Collazo, Collazo, Collazo, it was when Ricky Hatton beat Luis Collazo for the WBA Welterweight title that I put him to No.1, not when Ricky Hatton beat Juan Urango. I told you last Month but you mustn't have read it.Max Molyneux wrote:He put Hatton at No 1 after the Urango win though so does he use our opinions to compile that list?
I take on board what other posters have written, but it is my list. Most people have Hatton at No.1, so I think I have got that right.
