Hi!
We got the two hwgt's of the 70's named Randy Stevens res. Randy Stephens.
I think some bouts are mixed up between them in their records.

Randy Stevens, Warren, Ohio / Randy Clifford Stephens, Dallas, Texas.

Example; The undercard of Roberto Duran-Saul Mamby, Miami Beach, 1976, Randy STEVENS beat Oliver Wright unaimous decision.
(Not Randy Stephens as in BoxRec).

Can anyone check it up, please?

On the same page I reffered to above, there's another Randy Stevens. (The Ring, Aug. 1976, page 58).
This Stevens, 176, New York, lost to Pete Riccitelli on a six round KO.

RR Book 1977 has Randy Stephens fighting Oliver Wright and vice versa.

No record for Randy Stevens in that year - stick with Stephens.

I followed his career at the time & Randy Stevens was incorectly used in some reports.

I added his birthplace, manager, trainer, & some official decision descriptions.
Also a 2nd bout in 77 with Clyde Brown. (1984 RRB page 207)

AFAIK, his record is complete at 34 bouts.

BTW, He was on TV a lot, so if anyone has some tapes with his height & reach, it would b nice 2 have it entered.
