can anybody confirm that Cerdan defended his European Welter title against Felix Wouters (in Brussels, Belgium). Date May 1942.
This bout is not in our database but seems too important to have been left out. My information comes from a Boxing News Annual.

Hi friend! The Ring Record Book, 1978, shows; 1942, May 17 - F. Viez, Paris, W 10. I don't know if this is the answere, but....It's the only fight recorded for May -42. This Viez may have another psedonum?

Further... Felix Wouters lost to Fernand Viez in 1937-04-07, in Brussels, Belgium. Same guy?
