Hi Ric! I see that you often referre to NY Times as a source. I tried to find the archive search that goes beyond 1996, but i failed. Do you have any information?

Various local libraries subscribe to what is called ProQuest, which provides the NY TIMES from the 1850s to present on-line in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. However, not all libraries do. I do not know if one can subscribe to it individually.
