My record isn't great, but I've had a great time getting it. I have fought guys who are gonna be Olympians and maybe World Champs some day. I've travelled and kept out of trouble because of the sport. My next step is turning pro.

145-35

I got beat alot by bigger kids when I was younger, now I only lose to national competitors.

Not boxing anymore but accumulated close to 100 amateur fights in 9 years. 2 of my pass books were lost along the way by coaches but my record is right around 70 and 30 give or take a few. I fought a couple guys you might of seen on TV, Anthony Hanshaw and Yuri Foreman. I almost got to fight Camcho Jr. at a U19 tournament in Lake Placid. Lots of good memories.

Finished my amateur career with a 52 - 8 record.
2002 Canadian Middleweight champ, 2003 canadian light heavyweight champion.
In one of my most memorable fights, at the 2002 Commonwealth games in Manchester England, I won the bronze medal, losing to eventual Gold medal winner Paul Miller of Australia on a 25 - 25 countback.

You boxed English ABA champ Matthew Thirlwall over in Moose Jaw didn't you? how did you rate him and what other English boxers did you fight (if any)?

I defeated Thirlwall in Regina in 2002 I belive, and I defeated him at a time in my career when quite frankly I was "just learning" and was not very good (comparitively to how I have become). As I recall, I was warned about the "big power" he carried, but did not find that to be so. He was however quite fast. I imaging he could be a very good fighter, but my flurry and move style I think gave him alot of difficulty. Also, in the 2nd round I hurt him and had his eye swelling shut, which most likely changed the overall course of the fight greatly. It may not be a good Idea for most to stand in front of him and trade though.
Beside him I never fought any other english fighter, except a fighter named Moorehouse years ago on Jersey Island.
Uk fighters however, I had the opportunity to fight Ken Egan, Michael Allen, "something" Moran, and Steve Mcguire.
