Can somebody help me?

Post by Bard of Boxrec »

I'm looking to box for my university this year. just wanted to know- is it allowed, in the ring for an orthadox fighter to hide behind his left shoulder in a fight? (like, technically turning your back on your opponent by rotating from the waist, but keeping your lower body pointing forwards) Cos I've worked out a position where i'm peeking over my left shoulder, so can see everything, but my shoulder is actually covering my chin. were there any boxers any of you guys knew of that used this technique?

I'm pretty sure it is legal as long as you don't turn your whole body. James Toney fights this way a lot rotating his shoulder and it is quite effective.
