MIAMI, FL - Popular Miami, FL junior middleweight Joey Hernandez remained unbeaten as he won a four-round unanimous decision over Baton Rouge, LA slickster "Classy" Chris Gray. Hernandez (6-0, 2 KOs) won 39-37 on all three cards. Gray fell to 5-5, 1 KO.

Heavyweight Damian Norris won a six-round split decision victory over Puerto Rico's Alex Gonzalez. There was very little action in the bout as both stood and posed for the most part. Still, Norris (10-4, 7 KOs) won on two cards 58-56, while Gonzalez (18-6, 8 KOs) won 58-55 on the third card.

In a bout that had a lot of holding and hitting, Homestead, FL junior lightweight Orlando Gonzalez won by unanimous decision over Las Vegan Freudis Rojas in a four-rounder. Gonzalez (8-1-1, 2 KOs) won 40-36 X 2 and 39-37.

Former amateur boxing standout Johnny Narvaez won his professional debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Kissimmee's Angel Albelo, who was also making his debut. Narvaez won the featherweight bout 39-37 on all three cards.

A highly-entertaining junior middleweight bout between two fighters making their pro debut saw Roberto Norris win by TKO at 1:37 of the fourth and final round over Key West resident and Republic of Georgia native Sergi Gankelashdili. Three big right hands to the head with the Russian along the ropes forced referee Tommy Kimmons to step in and wave off the bout. Norris is a native of Cuba and is currently living in Las Vegas, NV.

Ocala, FL super middleweight Reggie Pena won an uneventful four-round unanimous decision over Miami's Gerald Newland. Pena (2-0, 1 KO) won on the scorecards 39-36 X 2 and 38-37. . Newland fell to 1-5, 1 KO.

A left to the body followed by a right hook to the head from Ronald Summey knocked down Richard Anderson and ended the night for Anderson. Referee Tommy Kimmons immediately waved off the junior middleweight scrap at 1:03 of the third round. The bout was scheduled for four rounds. The 37-year-old Summey improved to 3-5, 2 KOs, while the 47-year-old Anderson dropped to 0-2. Both fighters are from Orlando, FL.
