Bott vs. Booze
Barkley vs. Hall
Chacon vs. Montana (complete)
Chacon vs. Roach
Sung-Kil Moon vs. Nana Konadu 1
Betulio Gonzalez vs. Martin Vargas
Navarette vs. Choi
I know for a fact that there are copies of Gonzalez-Vargas and Barkley-Hall out there, and I've read accounts from people who have seen Bott-Booze and Moon-Konadu 1. The Chacon and Navarette fights are shots in the dark.
Please, if you have a copy or have spoken to someone who has one, make sure that it gets out there to the sellers. We need to preserve these fights.
I spoke to someone on a forum, I believe it was this one, who has a copy of Barkley-Hall sitting in storage, and I read an article on Fightnews with a collector who has a copy of Gonzalez-Vargas. If anyone can help me out there that'd be great too.

Yeah, I've ordered from him several times. He's one of the best. He doesn't have them.Italian 4 U wrote:Try this guy. I have bought over 200 fights from him and he has never failed to deliver!
PatMerrick's Boxing Videos (you'll have to do a search. I tried to post a link but it just routes you to tripod.)

I think it's gonna be hard to find a tape of Ray White. here's your link:

IMO you should only trade with fellow boxing fan,not someone who's trying to make a living out of it. Charging between 30$ to 40$ for a second generation tape is ludicrous

Rolando Navarette vs Chung-Il Choi
This is an old thread so perhaps you've found what you were looking for. I do have a copy of Navarette vs Choi, not great video though.
As to the person who said you should get all your fights by trading:
Good luck! Finding traders who don't send out absolute garbage is not easy.
Chopped up editing, no intros, no decisions, poor video, rounds missing, fights all run together...these are common problems when trading. I know, I did it for years, and it took literally YEARS to find traders who had the same standards I have. And most people who have the hard to find fights in good or better video aren't going to give them out for common fights or garbage quality copies in return.
I know from experience that many traders just don't care about quality, whether it be video quality, or quality of presentation. For those who fit that mold, trading is your answer. You'll be happy getting the same kind of stuff you send out.
And some who sell fights don't offer much better.
However, there are a few people out there who are interested in providing a product that is well worth laying down a few bucks for, for those who have a set of standards. But I know from years of experience that some people have no standards at all.
So the moral of my story is: Want something special? You'd better have something special to trade with. Want any old crap? You'll get it from most traders and some sellers.
30 to 40 bucks may be a lot to lay out. Not many charge that much, though...really, only a couple of guys I know of charge that much, and what you get may or may not be worth it.
Sometimes there's truth to the old saying, "you get what you pay for".
Pay nothing and you'll more likely than not get something worth just about that amount.

Re: Rolando Navarette vs Chung-Il Choi
Thanks, bvc. I'll be sure to order Navarette vs. Choi from you soon. As for the other fights, I'm still looking.bvc wrote:This is an old thread so perhaps you've found what you were looking for. I do have a copy of Navarette vs Choi, not great video though.
At this point, I'd like to see ANY Freddie Roach fights. He was on national television several times; you'd think there would be tapes out there.
I personally would like some Marciano fights, in their entirity, espically Moore, but it really doesn't matter who. As we know, the Rock was a small heavy, but how come he looks so big? Perhaps because of his big blows and ko ability. Being in shape doesn't hurt either. But man, he could swing the leather, whew!
