I heard Jason McKay was in line if he wins in Dublin next month.

Only if Wayne wins the IBF belt.MPG wrote:Wayne Elcock fighting for the IBF,would he have to vacate the british title.
If so Would Darren McDermott be a good test and maybe add the british title aswell as Mcdermott as already won an elminator.
Macca would relish the challenge for a crack at Barker's Commonwealth title, though i think the British title is his main priority at this time. He'd certainly give Barker a hell of a tussle.

Macklin doesnt beat Duddy!!!!! I do see the fight happening if Duddy finishes Eastman....Ireland would come to a standstill!!!MPG wrote:I think Matthew Macklin might be abit too much for Barker at this moment with it only being Darren's 2nd fight back since the layoff.
I rate Matthew and i would tip him to beat John Duddy now.Am i way off the mark ?

I wouldnt be so sure if I were you PR - Macklin learnt alot from the Moore loss and is far better suited to the middleweight limit in my opinion.thepocketrocket wrote:Macklin doesnt beat Duddy!!!!! Neither would have to go looking for the other and, as you say, it would be a sure fire sell out in Dublin.
Duddy v MAcklin is a natural and should happen ASAP.
As for Barker, I think Bendall would make a perfect foil at this stage in his development. The Cov fighter is rock solid and would cause the wonder kid some problems along the way but I would pick Barker to win on points.
I dont know pocket but i just think that Macklin has the beating of Duddy,Going on their last fights,i was more inpressed with Macklin then Duddy, but i know i cant just base my opinion on their last fights.but Matthew seems to be stronger.thepocketrocket wrote:Macklin doesnt beat Duddy!!!!!
