Howard Eastman is a 3-1 underdog with Paddy Power - does anyone think this is far too long???

Could go longer with all those mental paddies shelling out money on duddy.

Duddy is favourite, but no more than 2-1, given the fact he's not really beaten anyone of note, and Eastman is vastly experienced.

How in the world would Howard win this fight? It's not possible.

Duddy isn't brilliant, but Howard is sh*t.
He's never had any work rate, and now he's old. They're in Ireland, at the absolute least Duddy will win it on activity, but I think he'll probably knock out that old tw@t just like Miranda did.

Who knows how good Duddy really is, he hasn't beaten anyone of note.

It's also quite possible that Eastman took Elcock too lightly, and didn't train hard enough. If, and it's a big if, Eastman has any ambition left at this stage, he might just work his ass off and come in motivated.

Howard is far from shit, old yes, but shit no. He was no world beater, but for many many years he was the best Middlweight in Europe, and that is not the definition of a shit fighter.

I've seen little as of yet to suggest Duddy is a world beater, and his resume is pretty piss poor so far.

Oh yeh, I'd forgot he did beat all those brilliant European middleweights didn't he!

Come off it, Duddy has a pulse - of course he'll beat him.

Eastman has a pulse, which is more than any of Duddy's previous opponent's had.

I make duddy maybe 2/1 favourite, but 3-1 is nuts.

I don't know what you people are watching, so I give up on yer.

This is safe bet fight. Anyone who puts money on this fight is very smart, unless they're putting it on Howard.

Duddy whether it's long, short, easy, difficult... what possible way you're envisaging Howard winning I can't even imagine. But you're looking forward to this one a lot more than I am, so good luck to you.

I think duddy will be too open against eastman. Eastman is passed his best but sill packs a punch.

I really want to see duddy come through, but i fear at some stage eastman will land a big shot and finish him off.

hope im wrong

it's only been 12 months since Eastman saw off Richard Williams - in the 12th round, his losing streak isn't as long as some people think. I've never seen Duddy but he doesn't sound like a world beater to me. Eastman is hard as coffin nails. It will be closer than some of you are predicting.

Im with "Spender" (or sleaze). Duddy wins and should win easy. So eastman beat Williams 12months ago, Williams was pretty much shot then anyway and he didnt set the world on fire beating him.

What time is Khan on? Moore starts at 11pm, so there's a small overlap there, but not likely to miss too much either side. But will Khan-Earl overlap at the beginning?

i know it's lazy of me but are u saying Khan/Earl and whoever else are on ITV while Moore is boxing on TV also...I though Moore would have boxed on the Friday on Sky is that not the case?
Then Hatton's on later and as yet Elcock/Abraham is untelevised in this country?

I saw Eastman kayo Williams in the flesh & he still has a lot left to offer.

This Duddy guy- he had life & death war with an ancient shot welterweight Yory-Boy Campas. Says it all. Now hes gonna stop Eastman? Erm...

I hope Eastman is up for this one, its very very winnable.

I'm afraid I cant help thinking that even a terrible Eastman would still give Duddy a right go.

If an average to top drwer Eastman comes to town, then I think he will KO JD.

SleazeNation, why do I feel this massive vibe from you hatred for Howard Eastman. No offence but it sounds that maybe your a former opponent, someone close to a former opponent of his, or he has chatted up your woman, maybe even had your woman. I dont know but you seem very bitter towards him for some reason and I find people dont react like this unless it has a bit of personal emotion to it. I mean someone has only suggested that they think Howard may win this fight and you seem to have gone into a rant. Do you know him on a personal level to think hes a tw@t, or do you really think a British , European Champion & World title challanger is sh*t?
