Danny Williams was robbed........

Post by T.M.K »

Hi gents,

Williams was robbed tonight - not by the referee, not by the doctor, not even by the rules of the IBF.... but by Oleg Platov. Platov was getting a hammering and he knew it - he saw a way out and decided to stop fighting.

One of those cases where "the law is not always correct".

Mu sentiments exactly. focking discrase, well done Danny he took the early bombs and come back with some big shots of his own Platov wanted no more, Platovs corner were scheming, on ARD they were saying "1 more round then it will be no contest" "Come on Oleg 1 more round". They knew he was gone, big massive shame for Danny, i dont think Danny will fancy the rematch for some reason, he took some big shots but did well to soak em up, Danny can take alot of punishment. Fearon was fuming!

Platov was not In Danny's class and thought his style might of suited Danny when they traded.

Danny would of got an IBF ranking as well If they gave him the win.

Danny should go for the Euro, these eastern euros except Klit and Chag are overrated.

Platov was fukked, totally knackered and disheartned. He ran away from Williams and took a knee cause his eye was bleeding, it wasnt a Lennox-Klit cut either no where bloody near.

He looked damn fecking good, his chin stood up well, he looked strong and got his hands up well, blocking most of Platov's work.
very suprised at just how well he looked.

Seconded.

It was quite amazing to be honest..... however we must remember that this Williams aint gonna get an award for his footwork, it was BAM, BAM..... BAM, BAM-BAM. Effective though, and something he was missing against Sinal Sam for example.
