yeah i think he was winning at the time but it might of had something to do with Nuumbembe getting cut very early and a deep one and it was pouring into his eye for most of the fight, not a bad fight to be honest, i cant remember what round it was as im a bit pissed but i think it was about 7 or 8 when stoped

wasn't bleeding into ali's eye but down his cheek from what i saw but it was still a stinker. It just bled freely, deserves a rematch - probably.......
i say probably as I have no f*cking idea what happened up to round 5.
i was watching woolcombe against portman who i had imagined was a white guy, that's how much I knew about him...............all of a sudden I whack a pizza in the oven and when i come back it's the story of Ricky Hatton's boozer.........."oh, you're ricky's best mate going for a sh*t?" "tell the viewers back at home what your sh*t was like" "was it a good one?" etc etc..........
naturally i couldn't be arsed watcjing that shit but I swear Sky must have edited the fights as the Nuumbembe fight was half over ..........and it was the only one i wanted to watch............Real disappointed with Sky for this...........there coverage is aimed at an intellectual level that is somewhere just in between ameoba and your average hamster.

Yep the blood was running into Ali's eye and he could not see, so considering this I think he did very well and took the fight to watson. It was a shame the fight was stopped at the time when Ali was coming on strong.hamsterpoo wrote:yeah i think he was winning at the time but it might of had something to do with Nuumbembe getting cut very early and a deep one and it was pouring into his eye for most of the fight, not a bad fight to be honest, i cant remember what round it was as im a bit pissed but i think it was about 7 or 8 when stoped
It was a very bad cut and blood was pi##ing out.
