Floyd Mayweather = David Kehoe?

Post by m1kee50 »

Want to bend at the waist anymore? Want to turn your back and push your head out of the ropes? Want to pay off the ref (allegedly) so only one of you gets called for other identical offences?

David Kehoe got stopped over here for exactly the shit that 'Money' Mayweather was pulling, practically tying his laces in the middle of rounds ffs.

Fair play to Mayweather, he won and in good fashion, and Hatton could have done things differently, more angles etc.... but IMO the poor ref cost Hatton in the first 5-odd rounds.... not letting situations work themselves out, getting too involved.

taking a point off in a fight like that was always going to cause him to rush things, take half-chances that he could have left... No call for a rematch, I think it would end the same way, but I do feel that the ref could have been much better. Not that the septics will see that of course.

Hatton can't really complain, as he had the ref on his side versus Tszyu and didn't get deducted a point for blatently hitting low then.

Ricky tried to ruffle floyds feathers but he gave as good as he got.

Bending at the waist is NOT an offence in the pro game like it is in the amateurs - if it were James Toney woulda been disqualified in every fight.

Looking for excuses is not gonna hide the fact that Hatton got his ass tapped I'm afraid.

read what i wrote again, and tell me where i dont give floyd the credit. not his fault the ref was clueless, and im sure hatton would have and has took advantage of 'bad' refs before.... just annoying to see one that is bad in one sense, and overly good in another
