When is the Froch Inkin Purse bid

We may have got over excited by this since the WBC announce it I have heard very little would like to see the fight but its all gone a bit quiet.

Anyone know cos as I remember they were given 30 days about a month ago, also does anyone know if Warren tried to get a piece of it again?

Cheers mate, I hear Bute is looking for a fight in Feburary, if one of them took that what would it do to the eliminator? Would it be canceled or if they could organise both in the time would it be Kosha?

It looks like its open I heard Librado Andrade mentioned cos he is on the same bill. I think it'd be possible for ether of them to get in there tbh!

On a broader SMW point does anyone think Sakio Bika is in the running after aquiting himself well on the contender. The two he lost in his last 7 are to current champions so he may be able to hype his way to another shot.

Watched the Bute v Bika match he other day, and i'd say that Bute would always have the upperhand on Bika, he's just a level above the tough South African.

I've been impressed with Bute, he's got height and reach, and uses these well, knows when to get involved and when to grab then get distance between himself and his opponent. He could probably work on developing his power a bit, but he does have a decent dig when setting down on his feet.

For me he would start favourite over Kessler, just.

That's a bold statement, Bute has not the world championship experience that Kessler has and from my (admittedly single) viewing of him against Berrio he has potential but is not the finished article yet. I would make Kessler favourite if they met.

As for Bika is he South African or from Cameroon? I forget on that one. Good win in the Contender fight but tough and not good enough for the elite but could win a world title in today's diluted climate.

Finally...Bute might benefit from fighting someone like Zuniga (good win over the limited Oganov) or Sanavia/Haussler who drew. All experienced campaigners and a good home town defence for Bute. I would look forward to a fight between him and Froch a short way down the line and possibly in a unification?
