See that Matt Vanda is the opponent for Duddy, not a step on in quality here. Vanda is a neat boxer with a good chin, but on the downside of his career.

Vandas gonna get caned, but bearing in mind is probably Pavlik next Summer I wont complain too much...

Pavlik will take his head off. He's wide open to an array of shots and just stands there to take them, he's precious little movement, head, body or feet and I don't think he wacks that hard.

Vanda is just a sacrificial lamb for Duddy as they aim for a shot at Pavlik. Also Sebastian Sylvester's name for the European is being mentioned by Brian Peters but after Sylvester's mandatory.

Emmanuel Steward fancies an all Ireland showdown with Andy Lee for a world title. Anyone fancy the Duddy win in that one? Seems Lee is becoming the better all rounder.

Have to see Andy Lee face a couple of harder opponents first, Duddy would of had the same results against any of Lee's opponents so far.

Pavlik as awful as he Is would beat Duddy by his usual out brawling tatics.

Lockett would beat Duddy

Andy Lee fights like a Klitschko and that is the style to beat Duddy. That straight one-two with the odd uppercut thrown in.

Calzaghe(and probably Kessler) would stop Pavlik within 6-7 rounds.

Yes of course everyone in Britain holds a grudge against guys from the Mid-West. I can remember my father telling me about their strange ways and odd food.

There have been protests right across the UK against the influx of people from the Mid-West, questions have been asked in Parliment about what we can do to stop the terrors from the Mid-West.

I personally have installed alarms and a security fence to keeps the buggers out.

Don't make me have scary thoughts on how Calzaghe V Pavlik would turn out. Pavlik has no care for defence and was down vs the awful Taylor.

Pavlik would get stopped. He's a hype job who won't last long.

Easily outworked Calzaghe? Kessler lost 9 rounds to 3 eating many Calzaghe fast straight shots and even In the debatable 12th Calzaghe toyed around outboxing him.

Pavlik and Taylor awful? Max your SN fueled ramblings are starting to seriously lack credibility. I suppose Lockett would beat Pavlik and Taylor? Get real, Lockett wouldn't even beat Duddy, he's a WBU level fighter.

Agreed on Max Calzaghe, complete lack of class and credibilty when it comes to anyone mentioning his beloved hero...

Duddy-Vanda is no longer on the Maskaev-Peter card on February 2nd as has been reported.

It appears that Maskaev-Peter is heading to Mexico which Team Duddy has no interest in participating in since they are hoping to energize their Irish-American fan base. Kinda hard to do that from Mexico.

Where Duddy-Vanda lands is still being worked out.

Lockett would not destroy Duddy i don't think. Lockett has never fought anyone near Duddy's current level no matter the level he may aspire to if he improves under Don Turner. For all Duddy's faults and poor defence, Lockett's best win is over Ryan Rhodes and has had his peak wasted.

The answer to all the above is NO.

That's the way the game is.

Duddy vs. Lockett would be a very interesting fight. I'd have it about 50/50 on paper.

As can be seen from my posts i am not having a pop so much at Lockett as at his handlers. Spurious fights, WBU titles and meaningless fodder have wasted away his peak years IMO. He is knocking on 30 and hasn't had a defining fight for a credible title. Why the kid gloves? He is being stifled by the business.
