tye fields.....not yet in the mix ??

Post by rhino222 »

why ?? he has a record of 40-1 (36) has a bit of a padded record but has KO'd more fighters than many of the 'top crop' have had fights, yes he is robotic and predicatable but his power speaks for itself, im sure he is worthy of some sort of eliminator, what do you fellas think ?

I've seen the guy a few times, when i first come to boxrec i was a paper follower of Fields, having seen him a few times the only thing he got goin for him is height, reach and workrate. He doesnt punch powerfull by the looks, he throws arm punches, swing like hooks. Hes a Faruq Saleem type, his record is more padded than my grannys bra

Tyes single loss was a first round knockout to Jeff (Big Diesel)Ford who posted a few times on the old secondsout forum,A Loss he reversed with the same result a few fights later.
Not long before Jeff was knocked out by Matt Skelton in Northampton for a version of the world thaiboxing title and to be honest wasn,t up to much which probably gives you an idea of Tyes limitations.
