Ok here is another one guys...
Lets say that Morrison manages to not get trapped in the corner against Mercer and keeps the pace up, out boxing and out fighting Mercer in there fight. He wins the decision and this sees him facing the returning Holmes for a shot against champion Holyfield.
Tommy Morrison, his wiley like power punching style and skin complexion has raised alot of interest amongst casual and often dis-interested fans, his apperance in Rocky 5, has also seen his path seem pre-destined. Excellent combinations, good power and good work rate..early in the fight...on the olther side, as would come apparent in his later career is his very breakable and hittable chin as well as his diminishing stamina as a fight went on or got to hard. Does he have the youth and power to over come old man Holmes.
Larry Holmes, has fed his come back on questionable opponents showing his desire and skills are still enough to earn himself a spot in the rankings. At this stage of things he is not taken as serious as Foreman and many quetsion his abilities to mix it up.
Holmes has a deep wealth of boxing knowledge inside the ropes, his jab is still one of the games best, and at times he seems to be a conditioned fighting machine. However his chin is always a point of question and at such on older age would he have the ability and heart to get back up and turn things around. As an older man with the lay off his condition has been questioned as he seems to come into the ring at some stages around this time with little time in the gym.
