Bare Knucklers

Post by Tosti »

Hi

I noticed that there are a lot of the old bare knucklers missing from database, is it a Boxrec policy to only include the gloved era?

Cheers

Marquis of Queensbury rules only, I do believe.

There are however a number of exceptions in the database. Yankee Sullivan, Tom Hyer, Tom Sayers, Chris Lilly to name a few.

Tracey Callis has done extensive work in compiling records from the era, is there a way to initiate the inclusion of those well-researched records here?

You can visit the sister Wiki encyclopedia, and search for Yankee Sullivan, for example.

Thank you, I am aware of that. My question however was how or if well-researched records of the era can be included i.e. the fighters given a boxrec ID number so that researched bouts can be listed and perhaps expanded upon.
