how long did it take to compile these records

i have been looking through the records and my question is how did you and how long did it take to compile all of these records it is a massive collection and i am in awe that people were able to get very complete records from fighters over a 100 years ago

It's an ongoing process, based mainly on newspaper research. Most records are still 'under construction' even the ones that come across as being complete.
