For real. I thought most big venues now get other sites to sort out their ticket sales, via contracts, but Terry D (the 8th member of So Solid Crew) could probably clarify.

Basically you won't get around that booking fee.

Surely though it is possible to buy tickets from the venue itself? Sure, the website doesn't mention it, but surely they do have a box office.

After all- what about people who want to pay cash?

I know nowadays they are a minority, but still..

Also what if people turn up on the night? I'm sure that happens.

They have a box office at the front of the O2 mate. No web though.

Yes, the irksome rise of the 'admin fee, booking fee, joining fee' is one of the most pernicious developments. Companies basically adding on an amount of money which you give them gratis for doing piss-all. It really gets on my nerves.

Why do I have to pay a gym a 'joining fee' of 100 quid then 45 quid a month? When you ask, it's 'for admininistration.' By which they mean some thick as shit girl with hoop earings who sits chatting to her mates for two minutes while you're waiting to be served who then takes the form you've filled in, and hands it to her mate Tamanamanikeisha, who then leaves it lying in a drawer for two months while she goes on maternity leave.

God it makes me angry.
