In the Spring of 1983 Ken Buchanan fought George Feeney and
knocked Feeney out in the seventh round of a bout
scheduled for ten which was reported in the New York Times.
Bout should be entered and added to Buchanan's record
when detailed are verified (Scotland)
Ken Buchanan KO 7 George Feeney*
*This bout was an unsanctioned bout.
In 1931 Jack Johnson fought Dynamite Jackson
in the US and won in a bout missing from most ledgers
however a photograph of Johnson and Jackson and the referee in the ring before the start of the bout appears in many boxing books about Johnson.
Johnson won the bout and it should be added to his record
as follows when details are verified
Jack Johnson Win 3 Dynamite Jackson*
*This bout was a specially sanctioned 3 round bout.
Jack Johnson was 53 years old at the time this bout took place.
Johnson won.

Check the CBZ my firend -- we have both those bouts.
I see no need to note "unscanctioned bout" next to buchannons win over Feeney -- tens of thousands of bouts in the database were technically "unsanctioned" By the way, I confirmed all the bouts on Buchanon's record with him at the Hall of fame a year or so ago.
Re the Johnson fight -- The bout with Jackson started Johnson's exhibition tour of 1931 -- It certainly was an exhibition, not an official bout. (At least ion the newspaper reports I have)
