ANY VIEWS ON THESE FIGHTS?

Hi Guys, I have been away for a few weeks just got back and catching up with some of the news.

Heard Rhodes/Woolcombe, Olusegun/Wright and Barker/Bendall have all been announced - 3 interesting fights but appear certain winners for me, just wondered if anyone had any views on these or anything else they could update me on with what has gone on the past few weeks.

Rhodes/Woolcombe

Rhodes should hit too hard for Woolcombe who is not the hardest to hit, that having been said Gary has a big heart and if Ryan does not get to him by half way he may get outworked late on.

Olusegun/Wright,

Can see this being ok for about 4 rounds but Ajose can start breaking Nigel up from there and may force a stoppage around 8 or 9

Barker/Bendall

Barker may well end this by half way but Bendall is brave enough and not as convince about Darren as most of you guys I think.

Khan is too big for St Clair who whilst admittedly very decent has been well chosen to make Khan look good in my view, Khan by half way.

Lynes is too good for Tolppola who only won 1 or 2 rounds against Barnes if memory serves.

Now my turn up and egg on the face nomination is Munroe to beat Martinez, I think the spaniard is made for Rendall and really fancy him for this one, he may punch hard but he is hardly discreet with his attacks and Munroe can time him coming in and get him more and more frustrated as the fight goes on.

Jennings/Minter

Jennings too classy at best for a brave Minter and wins by 9th round tko.

I really don't think Barker hits hard enough to stop Bendall. The Coventry southpaw, although stopped in all three of his defeats (all on his feet), is worn down by an accumulation of punches slamming continuously over his low left hand.

Also, Scott Dann, Sebastian Sylvester (stopped far too early) and Wayne Elcock are bigger bangers than Barker, who couldn’t put a dent in his last opponent, Australian Ben Crampton, despite him having a non-existent defence.

Bendall has, however, tidied up his defence a bit in his last three showings (all wins, two early) and although i don't think he'll beat Barker, it could be fairly close.

I know Stevie is fired-up for this contest; he knows a defeat will spell the end of his big-time aspirations. I'm leaving my familiar surroundings of the Midlands to support Bendall at the York Hall next month.

I hope the Rhodes fight comes off, he really needs to step it up this year.
Gary Woolcombe is a sharpe hitter, at the mo i'd say this is a real 50/50 fight.
