My brother was a chronic asthmatic. At 18 he was 5'3" tall and weighed less than seven stone. A doctor put him on cortico-steroids. In twelve months he was 6' tall and over eleven stone.
The steroids improved his health, but by Jesus they put some size on him.
Well the corticosteroids administered to asthmatics are not anabolic and have very mild systemic effects, there's no way in hell that they can build muscle or make someone grow. "Steroid" refers to the way the drug is taken into the cell to transcribe DNA, most steroids don't make you put on muscle.
Salido is a good fighter, I think he beat Guerrero's ass because he was the better fighter on the night. He wasn't stronger, greater stamina or anything like that IMO, he just crowded Guerrero and took away the guy's space to let his punches off. It'll be a very good test for Dib.
I am speaking from observation. My brother got bigger in the legs, chest, arms, the lot. He may have grown because his asthma had delayed his growth spurt, but nobody could deny that he bulked up. He also increased his drive with a 1 wood in golf by better than fifty yards.
Hey guys it looks like dib is set to take on Linares after Salido. I have never seen Salido fight, but Dib will have to be in very good form to beat the Jorge Linares

It will be on Sky boxing. I did the search but no-one has subscribed yet. But I'm sure the usual pubs will have it on. The top three fights are all worth watching.

I wouldn't be looking past Salido...
That is a great card, pity it is on Easter Sunday here.

That's called a late growth spurt, an exaggeration, or both. Corticosteroids have anti-inflammatory properties, not growth explosion properties.
Salido likely took Nandrolone to help preserve muscle/strength since he likely wasn't doing much lifting figuring he had to make 126.
