Looking for Golden Gloves info for 1946 and 1947

My grandfather, Bill Brundage, won the "Golden Gloves" in 1946 or 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida. I am looking for more information regarding this fight, for example: what title did he win, what was the exact date of the fight, what weight class was he in, who was his opponent, etc.

If you have any information regarding the "Golden Gloves" in Florida in '46 or '47 I would love to hear from you! It may help me find the newspaper article about the fight which will give me all the information I need!

BTW I am a girl, and not really into sports, but I was raised on boxing. It is the only sport I really enjoy! This is a really cool site!
