I almost broke down when I read Patricia Ann Docusen's post about her dad. She wrote plainly that there were some errors in some previous posts about her dad,and she nicely stated the corrections. She said her dad was 80 and couldn't be on the forum because of his health.
I know we've got a few characters on our Forum, but the poignant responses that were returned to her really made her happy. I think when she made her first post, she felt a little timid, but after we displayed our interest in her dad,she opened up and you could tell she was gratefull.
I may be getting a little soft and old,but a daughter going out on a boxing forum to tell us about her father was something special. The tough old pug who'd been in there with the best having a sweet girl like that wanting us not to forget her old dad. Boy,he must be very proud of her. I wanted to wait a bit before I said these words. The distance, for me,even made her words more touching.
