Great while it lasted
Some fights while short, were nevertheless great fights.
I immediately think of the following:
Dempsey-Firpo
Foreman-Lyle
Hagler-Hearns
There was a lot more action in those fights than most fights of 10 rounds or more. The losers in these fights were competitive and made it very interesting.
Another fight that was great while it lasted was Mancini-Chacon. Chacon was past his best but still provided some good action against Mancini. It was fun to watch.
What was the best fights of 5 rounds or less?
There has to be many other short fights that are also atleast worth mentioning.

These immediately come to mind:
One Million B.C.: Raquel Welch against Martine Beswick in those infamous fur bikinis! (A classic!)
The Mummy Returns: Rachel Weisz against Patricia Velasquez duke it out for Pharoah's amusement.
Total Recall: Sharon Stone in a great fight with Rachael Ticotin.
Batman & Robin: Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl and Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy in a short fight.
Oh wait! You're talking about boxing. Hmmm . . . That will take some thought . . .

My personal favorite is Johansson against Patterson I - after all, I'm Swedish.
All kidding aside, from the old timers catagory, accounts I have read indicate that the first Terry McGovern-Young Corbett fight on November 28, 1901 was a real barnburner while it lasted.

Is there a better 1 round fight than this? A real war!generic screen name wrote:Sechew Powell vs Cornelius Bundrage was pretty sweet, w/a double knockdown.
Mancini vs Frias was another one when you see the highlights it seems like a 12 round brawl, when it actually was a 1 round fight.
Kirkland vs Conyers, Kirkland down very early, he then smelled blood and destroyed Conyers

Mancini came out firing and Arturo stood his ground.
Jaime Garza -Juan Kid Meza was another one.
Kid just got there first.
