Bears some research, maybe?

Me thinks that old Kid Dalton and the better-known Charles "Kid" Dalton one and the same person. . .the former shows only two fights while Charles had a bunch of them. Wonder if that California pro, Chuck, can shed some light?

Possibly I can help.
5-08-1908 vs Phil Brock.
Source: Oakland Tribune
Said Dalton was the champion of the South preliminaries. (That being South of Oakland(LA)
Couldn't find the other one, but I believe he also belongs with Charlie Dalton

Have also found 5 additional missing bouts for Dalton, plus a date correction(a refinement).
Also ID'd the third Kid Dalton(1910) of St Louis.

If you want this info send me a PM.

You could have found this yourself if you had used the newspaper access code I sent you.
Enter the code, then Kid Dalton(also charlie dalton, next) in Exact Phrase, then put in(at the bottom)1900(date) then 1922. Then hit search.

This is easier than when you used Utah Digitized newspapers or the Colorado Project.
You can try it on another boxer. Try Jack Clifford. When you are ready, contact me and I'll run you thru it.
