No way, Corrales at his very best could beat any jr lightweight in history in any given night.

Diego by a cold knockout a la Hearns vs Duran type of contest.

Great match-up - Really a pick'em type fight....with both guys power and style -

I can see ways that either win by TKO - Both have pure one-punch KO power - Both had very good recoup powers.....Both were dangerous when hurt.....

If Corrales picked his spots and forced Gatti to eat jabs for the first 4 or 5 rounds...I like Corrales chances past 6 rounds via TKO....

Inside of 6 rounds...I'd go with Gatti.....Past 6 rounds I go with Corrales via TKO..

Remember Corrales-Maywheather? it was on a given night...
You just cannot knock Gatti out cold. Stayed up against DLH, would've stand against Chico.

Corrales would still have won though, not on the same level.
