Did Gene Wells have 2 fights with Pete Ranzany?

11-9-76 is the recored fight between Gene Wells and Pete Ranzany. It shows Ranzany winning a decision. Was there a second fight? I could swear that Wells defeated Ranzany by decision in Sacramento during the latter part of Ranzany's career. That's what I remember happening. If so, the second fight should be added to both their records. Thanks.

I lived in the area at the time and there was no mention of a loss to Gene
Wells in the media or by the California Commission.
U might be thinking of an upset split decision loss to Pat Hallacy in Dec. 1981.
Wells only Had one fight after 1977 with Tony Licata in 81.
