HE is big and athletic but you cant tell much from that touch body sparring they were doing.

Brendan had Pele Reid when he first turned pro and he looked a genuine monster with huge power and bags of charisma. We all know what happened though.

Having size and athleticism can only take you so far in boxing - he will need skills, heart and determination to back it up.

Well according to the video hes a 6'7 HW and got battered by Junior Witter, but that was the first time in the gym in years BUT still. Good there's some young blood in the HW mix. Anything Ingle says needs taking with a pinch of salt, he always says his fighters are going to be the best in the world.

so that's why no one wants to fight Junior.

he seems like a nice guy but he stands too tall when taking a punch and delivering 1, but that will change with experience.

Read in another thread that Hayles might be the same person as Richard Towers (A 6.8 Brendan Ingle-fighter who turned pro last weekend). Anyone knows the truth about this.

It's quite easily actually. You use the flint to cut up the bag...and then eat the bag. :-?

News story on him here. Not saying he was an angel when he was younger, but he is trying to do something about his past experiences now.

Top lad, a man who has made big mistakes but has taken responsibility for them. Can't ask any more than that. A pleasure to chat to - warm and friendly with loads of time for anyone.

He can fight as well and I've seen him give an excellent account of himself in open sparring with Tyson Fury, who's team rate Richie high enough to come back for more sessions.

He needs time though because for obvious reasons he's had a very limited amateur career. He's doing his learning in the pros so we might not see him start to really pull up trees for a couple of seasons yet.
