to beat a former world title challenger is a huge confidence boost for me, i dont think anyone outside my team thought id win.
mahone is not the same fighter he was a few years ago, but the game plan we had gave him no chance, we took advantage of his slow foot and hand speed, no brawling just scoring points, never letting him set, and using a few diff tactics to take his confidence in his jab away, which is his measuring stick before he throws anything
n2shape, didnt know you were at the fight, should have come and said hi

zojo, stamina was great, i trained really hard but also fought in a style that would mean i could protect my gas tank as ed beats guys by wearing them down
ben, not sure yet, manager ted allen will be talking to people asap

Mark,
I was meaning to come over and meet you in person, but didnt want to leave the good position I had to watch the Cameron fight, was planning on finding you after that one but then i had to rush off after the show unexpectidly!!
We both discussed this fight by PM on ESB as you know I thaught if you got into a brawl with Ed things would get tough but i was very impressed with how eaily you outboxed him. Yes Ed is a shell of his former self, but the guy knows his way around a ring and still crack and has a reasonable chin still. A very Solid win!

Your changes certainly worked well for you.
You have to wonder how much training Haggler did before this fight, he was a replacement for Witherspoon so perhaps he only did a few weeks worth which showed he was gassed after 3/4 rounds I dont think he wanted to come out for the 6th round but was almost forced to by his corner. Hagglers record looked good but if you study it you'll see hes nothing special. He did look dangerous though for those 1st 2/3 rounds though.

N2shape, we put alot of work into changing my style and working to a plan for this fight, worked perfectly, camerons opponent was not bad but needs to improve fitness hey?
Wishing you all the best in your future.
