Sharif fought his 2nd professional fight last night in St. Joseph MO. He looked very impressive in scoring a 1st round TKO. Apparently he vanished at the World Championships last year. How good was he in the amateurs? Anyone know his record in the ams?

Got bronze at the 2007 African Championships, and went 1-1 at the All-African Games in the same year. Those are the only results I could find on him.

There were also 2 others that defected with him, but I forgot their names
