mundine abandoned

Post by buster007 »

seems like even some of his loyal supporters have gone off him lately.

how much damage to the fight earnings is fighting these recent ordinary oponents having on him. i'm not meaning soloman as he has good credentials but the cab driver ones that he fights. it has to be having a financial affect surely. i mean how much would he be pocketing for fighting the likes of acostsa and co.

his mouthing off wouldnt be too bad if he stepped up to the plate and attemtped to back up what he says....his problem is the fact that he has a mouth like pretty boy floyd yet he fights plumbers and cabbies. he humiliates himself so much.

khoder nasser knows nothing about the fight game either which makes it harder.

but thats contrary to what mundine says he is all about though...mundine himself says he isnt motivated by material gain (in fact he recently critized cathy freeman for being motivated by material gain).

if he wants to be remembered as a great boxer and go down in the history books then he should be prepared to put himself in situations where money comes second.

look at joeC, he was paid only 80,000 pounds to fight chris eubank, and he'll go on to be noted as the greatest brit ever to get in a ring - yet mundine refused a 2.5m pay cheque to travel to cardiff in 2005 to fight joeC, mundine said it wasnt enough.

mundine is just a hypocritical, contradictory fool who will never become a household name in the states or europe, and thats not because he doesnt have the potential as a boxer - that we would never know - his greed wont let us find out.

unless khoder deep down knows thats mundine actually doesnt have what it takes to mix it with the big boys of the SMW division...may be hes just trying to keep mundine away from big fights and inevitable losses WHILST making money by fighting horrenodus opponents in some of boxings greatest mismatches...

note to khoder: if u wanna be considered a serious manager, stop wearing sandles to boxing matches - take a look at f.warren or DK or ODLH or barry hearn or bob arum...try to get the attire right.

the whole eye drama was blown out of proportion by mundine and nasser to justify a mismatch - give him an excuse

Yep, as I have said earlier I do not buy the shit that he trys to sell as a fight and if we all did the same he might fight someone worthwhile or go away, I think pawpaw has a point about the PPV, as everyone I speak to says they will be buying the fenech fight, and these same people wont even take the time to go to the pub to watch the mouth

I'll still go to the pub to watch it. Remember Pubs have beer.

I didn't go to the last one but with Porky on the under card I HAVE to see this one! Plus beer is good.
