Is this company the German equivalent of SN ?

I cant help but think, that Denis Inkin has pulled out to be another WBO paper chumpion.

They already have Zsolt Erdei and Sergiy Dzinziruk as WBO's chumpions fighting stiff's every week.... add in former WBO chumpion Felix Sturm and their 'inter continental' chumpion's like Ruslan Chagaev.

It wouldn't suprise me if Inkin had been falsely promised a trip to Cardiff for the WBO title shot or he was holding out for it to become vacant before fighting another highly ranked WBO bum, in Mario Veit again to win it himself.

With the way that allegedly and Boxingchat announced that Froch-Inkin was off, prior to us anoraks being aware of it, suggests to me that Warren has been a coont and agreed for JC to vacate the WBO title for Inkin. It shows that Warrens interest in the sport ends at the door of the SN offices.

If this is true it's a low trick even by Fwanks standards, who's already lower than a snakes belly in a wagonwheel track

These German cowboys definately seem to be the SN equivalent in a Parallel Universum.

Definitely, Universum are the equivalent of Sports Network. In terms of bauble titles, safe shitty fights etc. However, Universum have definitely got more world champions than SN.

Yeah, it does look dodgy the way FWanky and BoringTwat were first to announce that Inkin had pulled out. Did they know before Mick Hennessy and Froch, I wonder?

I wonder if Inkin's disc will slip back in place for a vacant WBO title shot very very soon.

Got to say, David Haye and Andreas Kotelnik did the whole UK a favor by splattering the house fighters Macca and Rees, turning them into 2nd rate supporting acts!

To disappoint you in scuppering your accusations, the WBC informed Warren and many others on Friday. Perhaps Hennessy is the one who should have told people first, including ITV and the Board of Control and maybe the fans.

I only asked if the rumour had any truth if you read my post!

For what it's worth Froch is entitled to be made #1 and Inkin fucked off but the situation had nothing to do with SN or anyone outside Germany.

Look out for Froch V Kessler next!

Regarding Abraham, I read on fight news that the IBF were looking to scupper the fight as he had a mandatory by the summer.

If you think Erik is crap then you are deluded or have very unusual standards. Erik was easily EBU material if he hadn't had medical problems that kept him out of the ring.

Erik has no motive when he told me that Froch was the best person he had sparred with.... he is also well aware that sparring doesnt necessarily transfer to fight night performance.

So what has happend with Inkin's ranking. From what I have read - he has moved from #1 to #2.... so what essentially is the difference?

If Calzaghe sticks around he must defend against Froch... but that is not likely - so won't it be Froch vs Inkin again for the WBC title?

Or have I read this wrong?

Think the WBC will knock Inkin back a fair bit. Seems they are rightly sympathetic to froch, making him the mandatory. We will surely see Inkin fighting for one of the other belts that Calzaghe is vacating. I believe he is rated by the WBO from that stoppage of Veit.

Calzaghe is still Ring champ so I won't be surprised if he uses that as his world title because that exempts him from any mandatory title defences. I mean, if you can't handpick the opponent, what's the point?

Froch is Mandatory now, I do not think Inkin will get a straight shot due to backing out twice.

If he does, why would any 1 and 2 ranked fighter fight each other when they just have to back out and get a shot later?

Inkin may well be dropped out of the top 10 for this, if he goes for the supposedly soon to be vacated WBO, then he will be dropped altogether.
