I would have signed if it had been about wanting Scott Harrison to get his license back, rather than wanting Simon Block to resign.

Scott needs help by a councellor IMO. He isn't mentally ready for a ring return.

Probably bad timing looking for support after the recent allegations of him turning up pissed in a&e. Maybe he should have put a statement out to clear that up first.

Not signing.

Agree fully. He shouldn't be thinking about a license - he needs to have counselling for his problems and then build to an eventual ring return.

There is a very good reason why these people are saying no to this Petition... no offense..

Besides, there are lot more Petitions with much more better causes

Petitions rarely achieve doodle shit anyway and are not taken seriously by anyone in a position of power.

FORMER world champion boxer Scott Harrison has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, it emerged today.
Harrison, 30, was stopped by police in his car in Ferniegair, Lanarkshire, on April 22.

He was formally arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and was taken to nearby Hamilton police station for questioning.

A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: "A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged road traffic offence on Tuesday, April 22. Inquiries are ongoing."

Strathclyde Police confirmed there had been a girl in the car with the former world featherweight champion, but could not give any more details.
Seriously, they need to bang him up before he does some serious damage!

Sadly Scott is still drinking so why would they give him his license back. If he had turned his life around, was getting help, and was really off the booze, it would be a different matter. This man is a danger to the public, be it in a pub or bar or on the road. No I wont sign.

He doesn't deserve it back at the moment, it's not like all his problems will go away once he is back boxing, it's whilst boxing that his problems started in the first place. He needs to get back into training, stay dry and then i'm sure they'll give him it back.

Currently he is bad for boxing and no way should get his license back. Everyone deserves a second chance but they still need to earn them

Well Boxrec's eternal optimist given it at least one signature. Let's hope they take that into consideration when dealing with his latest arrest.

Nope - sorry Dude - not signing!!!

I have met Scott and his dad - he was a great guy as we stayed in the Lennox Lewis College prior to the Lewis/Botha show - I thought at the time you could not meet a nicer individual.

However there is a clear audit trail of problems - and just because the BBBofc were not immediate in their return of the licence - is not an excuse to sink back into those problems.

Scott should have wanted to rid himself of whatever problems he had whether they were drink, drugs, fighting or whatever - he should have wanted to put himself on the right path with or without the help of boxing.

But it is not a one way deal and Scott must have realised he did not have all the bargaining tools -

His attitude should have been - even if I do not get my licence back I am going to prove to myself just as importantly my family I genuinally mean I am going on the right path in life despite the outside influences.

It appears Scott has not got his way and used that as a rather empty exscuse to sink back into old ways.

Perhaps I am being too hard on the lad.
