Best Gift to the fans???

Post by DG. »

Now, we all know Robin Hood aka Ricky Hatton is giving back by charging us £15.00 to watch his fight.

LENNIOX GAVE BACK BY GIVING US A WORKD TITLKE FIGHT ON THE BBC FOR FREE!

He said he made enought money and wanted the people and his fans to see him for free.

He took a paycut to allow it to happen, he lost the fight, but he did his bit.

I think Chavev fought in front of 136,000 fans for free once.

Any other REAL gifts to the fans from fighters?

I think Roy Jones Jr. donated his purse barring his trainers expenses to charity once. Don't know the details though.

DG... I can't believe you bought that crap from Lennox. I thought you were wiser than that.

His show was on the BBC as a sweetner for a deal with his then new firm - Lion Promotions. That was just a handy bit of spin....
