MD's on John L Sullivan's record

Post by Bard of Boxrec »

I noticed John L Sullivan has a couple of majority decisions on his record. how did these differ from the MD's of today? would there have been 3 judges at ringside?

Who were the fighters? Sullivan had a lucky draw or two in fights he should have lost if the decision was fair. Let the boxing rule, not some ones agenda.

Did the James Young fight happen?
