The Worst?

Post by HomicideHenry »

We generally hear from time to time that someone is either the greatest p4p, or is the greatest of all time...but whose the absolute worst fighter p4p? Or maybe better yet, who is the worst or at least the most notorious perpetual loser in every weight class?

Someone start dropping opinions, from Minimumweight to Heavyweight, whose the worst of each weight class? :-?

I don't know...Maybe that term "The worst fighter pound per pound of all-time" does not exist.

Simmie Black LOST OVER 145 fights...Could it be him?

Great topic, though. :TU: :TU: :TU:

Or one of the guys who LOST to Simmie.

Actually, I knew Simmie Black, and he wasn't that bad of a fighter, as far as ability goes. The problem was that he just didn't give a . . . .

He was in it for the payday, and you get paid for losing the same as winning, and with a lot less effort. Very rarely did he display any desire to actually win the fight.

The worst boxer ever is the loser of this fight:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haiwxGZXBhY

He calls himself the master of a new style called "illusive fighting", and he claims he stays in shape by dodging cars in the middle of heavy traffic. :o

(PS, I like the song during the slo mo replay. )

Brian Paul once told me that one of the best defensive fighters he ever saw was, ironically, Reggie Strickland, the man who claims to have more losses than any other professional in history. I suppose Strickland was a bit like another friend of Brian's by the name of Dean Nichols, who was in great shape for his age, but just didn't do nothing worth while in the ring; by that I mean he wasn't offensive at all, just a runner.

I've actually heard people say Strickland has decent ability. He probably felt he could make more money fighting (and losing) once a week than if he took the time to make a serious go at the big time. He's basically a career journeyman, it's like the same as having a job.

Tony Menefee is a clown.
Patrice L'Heureux is not the most skilled either, to think he was canadian HW champ...

I fought on the same card in Chicago with Reggie Strickland. He fought Lorenzo Smith .
Lorenzo was a good fighter.
Reggie dropped a four round dec. to him.
He had some skills and if he trained or was a bit more serious, he might of had a better record.
I dont know who the worst is , but There are worse than Strickland.

I think this guy thought his 'giant' status (size), and notority out of the ring (NFL football), just at the beginning of the really big HW - super HW explosion, would be enough. Well he made a pure clown of himself and a couple of beatings along the way, the Worst I have ever seen - Mark Gastinov... or however you spell his name.

aka Russian Pride.

Yep, based on his 'effort' against Kid Thunder, my vote goes to Chucky Z.

However, let's not be too hasty as Stacy is looking to match Zelenoff with BStrange who looks about as dangerous on his YouTube videos as a sheepskin blanket.

Time will tell.
