Wonder how Djelkhir pulled that one out - in Cuba. Is he that good, does anyone know? Or did the judges decide to let France win one.

He's a very strong, compact, offensive fighter with a tight guard. A lot of guys will crumble under his offence.

Hello everybody,
I know this boxer. He's very strong, his punchs are very hards and quick.
I think he may be medallist in Beijing.

Very impressed with Leon stopping Hallab, and even in Cuba I'm a but surprised that my guy Oubaali lost to Hernandez.

Djelkhir has a lot of good results, but he got torched by Raynell Williams in Chicago, so that may be a good sign for Raynell if he meets up with Torriente.

I'm predicting the worst Olympic results for the Cubans in modern history this time around. By far their weakest team in a long time...

from some digging, it looks like a combo of a lack of motivation + lack of backing. he retired right around the time he had a kid and sounds like he wanted something more reliable

i think he had a euro title shot on the table at one point and was ranked top 15 by wbo, but nothing really materialized
