Collins do you have this fight? I would love to watch it on YOUTUBE if you happen to ever have the time. It gets a lot of discussion but it's one that's missing from YOUTUBE's inventory.
I notice the Holmes-Ruddock sparring match was pulled from view.

I think I have it on DVD at home so if it's still not on youtube, let me know and I'll try and work out how to get it onto it for you. Might have to wait until the weekend, though.
My guess is that the rest of the fight is out there somewhere, if I wasn't at work I'd give it a further search. I'll see if I can track the rest down later.
Well in the first three rounds there is no doubting who the boss is. Terms of this fight are fully dicated by Ali. Might be able to argue the first round for Patterson I suppose but Ali is just in charge regardless of tech points. IMHO. Nobody has suffered much of any consequence. But Floyd is just missing the target too much. Still he's fast for his age in this fight.
When's the last time you saw two heavyweights move this much? Looks like middleweight action.

Best avoid Liston fights then!
I have two versions of this. One perfectly fine and one where Gutteridge and Carpenter interrupt the action to talk complete shite for a few minutes at a time.
Was that where he wore disguises after the fight so he wouldn't be recognized...
Floyd was a fundamentally decent man...It's just that certain fighters had his number...
And it didn't help Floyd to have President Kennedy tell him he was rooting for him to win to vindicate all that is right against the "thug" Sonny Liston... I don't think all that pressure helped...
thats the thing about different styles...frazier and patterson would always be beaten by foreman and liston no matter what they did....and liston and foreman would always be beaten by Ali....
