Styles make fights

Post by Manchester Massive »

As someone with minimal boxing experience (couple of white collar bouts) be interested to hear more experienced guys views on the following. How could Joe Frazier give Ali so much trouble and even beat him, yet get pulverised by Foreman, yet Foreman gets beaten by Ali, clearly not too much between Ali and Frazier, yet what appreared to be a gulf in class between Foreman and Frazier and yet Ali can convincingly beat Foreman.. Again Duran gives Hagler problems, Hearns blitzes Duran, yet Hagler hammers Hearns, why such dicrepancies?

thats the beauty of the game! what happens when one set of attributes and intangibles meets another, its why these things are decided in the ring and not on paper. Don't fight it dude, roll with it. :D
