July 12th 2008 – Results from PRODESA fight card held in U de M Gimnasium in Managua, Nicaragua.
Roman Gonzalez W TKO 2 over Abraham Irias. Fight stopped at 1:02 of the second round. Gonzalez knocked down Irias in the first round.
Nerys Espinoza W TKO 2 over Geovanny Rayo. Fight finished at 1:15 of the second round. Rayo knocked down twice in the first round, 1 knock down in the second round before the referee finally decided to waive it off.
Evert Briceno W TKO 4 over Erick Aguilera. Aguilera was knocked down twice. The first knock down occured in the second round. The second knock down in the fourth round.
Cristian Ruiz W KO2 over Bayardo Rosales. Picture perfect Left hook to the body stopped Rosales in 2:24 of the second round.
Jose Antonio Elizabeth W UD in 6 rounds over Jose Rizo. Ugly fight.
Carlos “Chocorron” Buitrago W UD in 4 rounds over Ernesto Castillo. Buitrago knocked down Castillo in both the first and second rounds.
Rene Alvarado W KO 2 over Francisco Castillo. Castillo was a last minute substitute over Elvis Guillen. KO occurred in 1:02 of the first round.
Walter Castillo L SD against Edwin Palacios. Palacios substituted Osman Vilchez at the last minute. Vilchez was able to knockdown Castillo with a perfectly timed left cross to the chin in the first round. Castillo got up and made it into a fight but still lost.
