ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer will send a two-person advance party to Cebu City, Philippines later this week to ensure all is in order for his fighter WBA #6 super flyweight Rafael "El Torito" Concepcion in advance of the July 26th clash at the New Cebu Coliseum Conceptcion and WBA #3 AJ "Bazooka" Banal for the vacant WBA super flyweight title. (The WBA also recognizes Cristian Mijares as a super champion in the division.) Team Concepcion is scheduled to arrive on July 20 at 7:00 PM. Concepcion will fly in with trainers Pedro Romero and Hector Roca. The contest is produced by ALA Promotions in association with ABS-CBN Sports, Golden Boy Promotions, and the Cebu City Government.
So, please update your schedule because you have Nashiro-Kono for September 15th for that same vacant belt!!!
