Anyone have the 7th Annual Desert Showdown Results?

Last year, the posted video online, but I can't even find the results of this tournament which ended this past weekend. They had some really good bouts last year. If anyone has any information (results or video), please post.

Previous years videos have been posted by the local TV company covering the event. They no longer do so. It would have really been embarrasing to post any of the bouts where the women were boxing in tennis skirts - obviously the officials had no clue. 8)

Oh man. That's pretty bad . . .Mel. But of course, you mean "skorts" right? Last year I saw the bout with Randy Caballero and one with Hasim Rahman Jr. online. I wanted to see any of the elite amateur boxers there this year even it was just the results with no video. I have seen literally hundreds of press releases and marketing information about the event, but absolutely zero about the results.

Since I wasn't there, I don't know if they were "skorts" or not - just that they weren't regulation trunks. There is a lot of advertising and hoop-la done for a tournament that doesn't have that many entries and does have sub-par officiating and administration. Sometimes our elite boxers from So. Calif. (such as Randy Caballero) or others from neighboring states do enter and compete. But I have no idea who was there this year. I'll see if I can get any results.
