Lenny Zappa is by far our best up and coming fighter!

Post by Ultimateboxa2 »

I have seen a lot of Kickett. I have seen a lot of Dib.

While i rate both highly.

One guy is superior! And that is Lenny Zappa!

Body combinations. Terrific power. Im very impressed.

He won't be fighting in OZ for long.

Well done Lenny!

Loads up to much leaves himself open to counter punches. Dont get me wrong he has great potential but i can see him walking into some big shots as he steps up the competition and hopefully his chin is up to it.

Sorry Ben K, disagree, and have heard this comment quite often that leaves himself wide open after loading up, i seen one of the best performances of the year tonight. This kid has it all, shit i weigh 100kg and stand six foot, and wouldn't want to get in the ring with this guy.
I've seen him fight 6 or seven times now, ringside and on tv, and what your saying (wide open) was true in his first 10 fights, but there was no evidence of that in his last few fights .Even still, when he has been dropped he rose to feet and punished his opponent. Everyone is talking Kickett and Dib, well Zappa certainly will win a world title, no doubt.

His level of opponents are'nt as good as kicketts, but he does stay busy.
And just for the record a massive Kickett fan, and support Dib as well.
Do agree that he needs good opponents before the end of this year.

Yeah i see were your coming from Houndog,
He is still learning i suppose but last nights opponent didnt have a chance to catch him. He leaves himself open though last night he did look better, Maybe i was thinking back a bit. Hard to judge though by his opposition.
I would love to see him Dib ,Kickett and StClair have a 4 way tournement as the winner would no doubt be able to go overseas and really be competitive if they come out the winner.

For some reason i think that Kickett could beat Dib and so could Zappa but im not sure who would win in a bout between Kickett and Zappavigna.
Zappa has great power but goes abit wild with his punches and Kickett has accuracy and speed, so an interesting fight.

Lenny's a great prospect however am just worried by the number of times he has been dropped so far, none of the fighters were known punchers. I know for a fact a move to Light welter is very close to happening as he kills himself to make weight. At this stage Kickett has fought slightly better fighters and would seem to be the better prospect at this stage.

This would be great, could happen with two stablemates in Zappa v Elomar at the end of the year, and kickett calling out Zappa and Dib.
And i'm pretty confident in St Clair wanting a taste.

Future world champ and p4p no. 1?

I hope you guys are right but i dont see how you can be sayin that at this point. He hasn't really had any fights with good fighters. I think he has potential and is more exciting to watch than dib but its too early for me to say. But like i said, i hope u guys are right.
